Chrono Tokyo was the domestic-market line independent watchmaker Hajime Asaoka launched in October 2018 through his Tokyo Watch Precision workshop, produced with TiC TAC to sell his design language in volume at a fraction of his bespoke atelier prices. Cases share Asaoka's fluted crowns and cylinder dials, finished in small, dial-specific runs of 50; the following year's export-facing Kurono Tokyo grew from the same design, later eclipsing it internationally.
