Dugena is the trade name of the Deutsche Uhrmacher-Genossenschaft Alpina, a German watchmakers' cooperative founded at Eisenach in 1917 from the Berlin agency for Swiss Alpina. The contraction became its only brand in 1942; the firm moved to Darmstadt in 1949, passed to EganaGoldpfeil in 1993 and has belonged to Nova Tempora since 2009. Its mid-century dress watches were sold through member jewellers. (Wikipedia: Dugena (German))
