Ernst Benz is a Swiss watch brand tracing its name to Ernst Benz, a German aviation-instrument designer whose cockpit-gauge-inspired chronographs date to 1960. The company was taken over in the mid-2000s by Leonid Kankin, who expanded production and built out the ChronoLunar and ChronoFlite lines of oversized, instrument-styled watches. (300 Magazine)
