H. Moser & Cie traces to Heinrich Moser's 1828 Schaffhausen workshop, which built its early reputation supplying the Russian imperial market, before lying dormant through much of the 20th century. Roger Meylan revived it as an independent manufacture in 2005, building its own movements, hairsprings and hand-fumé dials in-house, and the relaunched brand became known for stripped-back "Concept" watches and needling the Swiss industry's marketing conventions, including its own send-ups of smartwatches.
