H. Moser & Cie was founded by Schaffhausen-born Heinrich Moser in Saint Petersburg in 1828, serving the Russian market with watches made in Switzerland. The modern manufacture builds its own mechanical movements and hairsprings. (H. Moser & Cie) Relaunched in Neuhausen in 2005, it was acquired by the Meylan family in 2012. Its stripped-back "Concept" dials dispense with conventional hour markers and, in some versions, even the brand name. (Hausmann & Co.)
