Junghans is a German watchmaker founded in 1861 in Schramberg in the Black Forest, which grew into one of Europe's largest clock and watch manufacturers by the early twentieth century. Its most influential design legacy is the Bauhaus-descended Max Bill line, created with the artist and architect Max Bill starting in 1961, whose minimalist dial has stayed close to its original form for over six decades.
