Mercury (Mercury Time of New York) was one of the second-tier American labels riding the 1970s LED boom, casing bought-in solid-state modules in gold-plated cushion cases assembled in Hong Kong. The company did not survive the decade and left no archive; its watches carry no model numbers, only the company name on the caseback.
