sazaré is a Japanese watch label started in winter 2018 and sold through the Tokyo distributor Beyond Cool, which says its watches are made by hand at a workshop in Fukushima. The name comes from sazare-ishi, the pebbles that grow into a boulder in Japan's national anthem, and its SK01 sets a plain dial that counts the hours from 00 to 11 in a 38 mm steel case.
