Swarovski logo

Swarovski began in 1895 when Daniel Swarovski, an Austrian glass-cutter, patented an electric cutting machine that mass-produced precision-faceted crystal in Wattens, Tyrol. Still family-controlled, it built its Crystalline watch line around exposed loose stones tumbling between two crystal panes rather than fixed settings. (Wikipedia)
