Cyborg (series)

From IMWDb
Cover of DC Comics Presents #26 (1980), which contains Cyborg's first appearance in a bonus preview insert; the cover itself depicts a separate Superman/Green Lantern story and does not show Cyborg, used here to represent the character franchise the partnership is licensed to generally.

Cyborg (Victor Stone) is a superhero created by writer Marv Wolfman and artist George Pérez for DC Comics, introduced in DC Comics Presents #26, cover-dated October 1980, in a bonus preview insert for The New Teen Titans #1. After a lab accident nearly kills him, his scientist father rebuilds his body with advanced cybernetics, granting him superhuman strength and the ability to interface with technology; he became a founding member of the New Teen Titans and, in later continuity, the Justice League.
