Garfield (series)

Garfield is a comic-strip cat created by cartoonist Jim Davis for Paws, Inc., first appearing in a daily strip syndicated by United Feature Syndicate on June 19, 1978, alongside his owner Jon Arbuckle. Known for his laziness, gluttony, disdain for Mondays, and contempt for the dog Odie, Garfield became one of the most widely syndicated comic strips in the world and was adapted into animated television specials, series, and several live-action and animated feature films.
