Iron Man (Tony Stark) is a superhero created by writer/editor Stan Lee, scripter Larry Lieber, and artists Don Heck and Jack Kirby for Marvel Comics, first appearing in Tales of Suspense #39, cover-dated March 1963. A billionaire engineer who builds a powered suit of armor to survive a life-threatening injury, the character explores technology, corporate responsibility, and the costs of weapons manufacturing, and has since starred in his own long-running comic book series and been adapted across films, television series, and games, including Robert Downey Jr.'s Marvel Cinematic Universe films beginning with Iron Man (2008). UNDONE, the Hong Kong custom-watch brand, listed this US$799 limited edition of 300 pieces on July 19, 2021, sold with an NFT token on the UCOLLEX platform to members of its UNDONE Metaverse Masters Club, on a campaign whose sign-up page carries the Marvel logo and a ©MARVEL line: "inspired by the life-saving electromagnet in Tony Stark's chest", a DLC-coated steel chassis and NH39 automatic in a clear K1 mineral glass body, under a semi-translucent dial with a Stark Industries logo and the Mark I arc reactor reworked as a 24-hour subdial.
