Loki is a superpowered trickster created by writer Stan Lee, scripter Larry Lieber, and artist Jack Kirby for Marvel Comics, first appearing in Journey into Mystery #85, cover-dated October 1962. The adopted son of Odin and jealous adoptive brother of Thor, he draws on Asgardian sorcery and shapeshifting as one of Marvel's most enduring antagonists-turned-antiheroes, and has since starred across comics, television, and games, most widely known from Tom Hiddleston's Marvel Cinematic Universe films and the Loki (2021) television series.
