Buichi Terasawa's science-fiction action manga was serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump from November 1978 to November 1984. It follows Cobra, a devil-may-care space pirate with a Psychogun built into his left arm, who erased his own memories and altered his face to escape his old life before his past catches up with him. The manga spawned a 1982 theatrical anime film, two television series, and several OVAs. (Wikipedia)
