Michiharu Kusunoki's street-racing manga, first serialized in Shogakukan's Big Comic Spirits in 1990 before moving to Kodansha's Weekly Young Magazine from 1992 to 2008, following high school student Akio Asakura's obsession with defeating a legendary black Porsche 911 Turbo nicknamed "Blackbird," driven by rival Tatsuya Shima, after Asakura acquires and restores an accident-damaged Nissan Fairlady Z (S30) known as "the Devil Z."
