Frédéric Schoendoerffer's kidnap thriller for a French crime syndicate. After police commissioner Gabriel Carré is snatched by the men of Victor Kancel, the gang boss he sent to prison three years earlier, Kancel gives him 96 hours, the legal limit for a French police custody, to reveal which of his own colleagues turned informant. Gérard Lanvin stars as Carré opposite Niels Arestrup as Kancel, with Sylvie Testud and Laura Smet. (IMDb)
Watches
- Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso
- Worn by Gérard Lanvin as Gabriel Carré. Montres de Luxe identifies Carré's watch as a steel Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso, no reference stated, and notes that the placement is more than a cameo: Kancel strips the watch from Carré's wrist as a trophy during the abduction and later gives it to his own granddaughter, so the Reverso carries a small plot function of its own rather than sitting in the background.
