From IMWDb
A Cop

A Cop (Un flic), written and directed by Jean-Pierre Melville, was released in France in 1972. Alain Delon plays Edouard Coleman, a Parisian police commissioner having an affair with a woman, played by Catherine Deneuve, whose other lover, played by Richard Crenna, is the leader of a bank-robbery gang Coleman is separately hunting. It was Melville's final film. (Letterboxd)

Watches

Cartier Tank
Worn by Alain Delon as Edouard Coleman. Montres de Luxe identifies Coleman's watch as a curved Cartier Tank ("Tank Arrondie"), and adds a documented anecdote: during filming, Delon noticed that Melville himself wore the identical watch, and the two were photographed together showing off their matching Cartiers. The source adds that a gangster in the film, played by Richard Crenna, wears a no-date Rolex Submariner. (Montres de Luxe) No reference is stated for either watch, so the row is cataloged at the line.
