Jang Hoon directed this South Korean historical drama (Korean: 택시운전사), dramatizing the 1980 Gwangju Uprising through the eyes of Seoul taxi driver Kim Man-seob (Song Kang-ho), who unknowingly drives German journalist Jürgen Hinzpeter (Thomas Kretschmann) into the besieged city to document the military crackdown.
