Walt Disney Productions' animated musical fantasy comedy film, produced under Ben Sharpsteen's supervision and directed by Clyde Geronimi, Wilfred Jackson, and Hamilton Luske, based on Lewis Carroll's 1865 novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and its 1871 sequel Through the Looking-Glass. Alice, a young girl who falls down a rabbit hole, enters the nonsensical world of Wonderland, ruled by the tyrannical Queen of Hearts, and encounters strange creatures including the Mad Hatter, the Cheshire Cat, and the ever-late White Rabbit.
