Arthur the King is a 2024 adventure drama directed by Simon Cellan Jones from a screenplay by Michael Brandt, adapted from Mikael Lindnord's 2016 memoir about a real endurance race. Mark Wahlberg plays Michael Light, the captain of an adventure racing team attempting a 435-mile course through the Dominican Republic with teammates played by Simu Liu, Nathalie Emmanuel and Ali Suliman. Along the route the team is adopted by a wounded stray dog they name Arthur; Juliet Rylance plays Light's wife, Helen, back home in Colorado Springs. (Wikipedia, IMDb)
