Pierre Granier-Deferre's political drama, released in France as La Race des seigneurs and adapted from Félicien Marceau's 1969 Prix Goncourt novel Creezy. Alain Delon plays Julien Dandieu, a rising politician offered a ministry in a new coalition government, who sacrifices his family and his mistress, the model Creezy (Sydne Rome), for the post, only to learn too late what the choice has cost him.
