Two childhood friends plan to rob an armored-car depository, but an NYPD officer stands in their way. (IMDb) Directed by Dito Montiel from a screenplay by Adam Mazer, the crime drama premiered at the Gasparilla International Film Festival in March 2013 and went straight to disc through Lionsgate that September. It dramatises the 1983 Sentry Armored Car Courier robbery in Astoria, Queens (then the largest cash theft in U.S. history at roughly $11 million), with Liam Hemsworth as guard Chris Potamitis, Michael Angarano as his friend Eddie and Dwayne Johnson as the detective pursuing them.
