First Love (ファーストラヴ) is a 2021 Japanese theatrical film directed by Yukihiko Tsutsumi, adapting Kanae Shimamura's Naoki Prize-winning novel of the same name. Released on February 11, 2021, it follows psychologist and writer Yuki Makabe (Keiko Kitagawa), commissioned to write a book on university student Kanna Hijiriyama (Kyoko Yoshine), the prime suspect in her own father's murder, unearthing buried trauma as she investigates. Tomoya Nakamura co-stars as Kasho Anno, alongside Yosuke Kubozuka and Itsuji Itao. (TMDB)
