Goofy (series)

A black-and-white theater-audience scene from Goofy's actual debut short, Mickey's Revue (1932), in which he appears anonymously among a crowd of dogs, years before being named; used here to represent the franchise the Bulova partnership is licensed to generally.

Goofy is Walt Disney's tall, clumsy anthropomorphic dog, who first appeared as an anonymous audience member in the short Mickey's Revue (1932); he went unnamed for years, nicknamed "Dippy Dawg" by animator Frank Webb before finally acquiring the name "Goofy" in his seventh appearance, Orphan's Benefit (1934).
