Watches
- Rolex Submariner 14060
- Worn by Brad Pitt as James Belmont. Watches of Espionage identifies Belmont's watch, seen on a green-and-red striped fabric strap alongside a Waltham-style wrist compass in official Paramount production stills, as a no-date Rolex Submariner ref. 14060 with the "two-line" dial text produced roughly 2001–2007. Director David Ayer confirmed to the outlet's author that the choice was a deliberate nod to Will Chesney, a real SEAL Team Six/DEVGRU dog handler who wore a similar two-line 14060 during the 2011 raid that killed Usama bin Laden; the fabric strap and compass pairing further evokes an older lineage of Vietnam- and Cold War-era Special Forces watches. As of this writing the film had not yet reached theaters, so the identification rests on pre-release production photography rather than a viewing of the finished cut. (Watches of Espionage)
