Just Remembering (2022)

Just Remembering (ちょっと思い出しただけ, Chotto Omoidashita Dake) is a 2022 Japanese romance written and directed by Daigo Matsui, inspired by the Jim Jarmusch film Night on Earth by way of a Creep Hyp song of the same inspiration. Sosuke Ikematsu and Sairi Ito star as a stage lighting technician and a taxi driver whose relationship the film traces backward across six years, one significant day at a time. It premiered at the 34th Tokyo International Film Festival in November 2021, winning the Audience Award and a Special Mention, before its Japanese theatrical release on February 11, 2022.
