Watches

Ebel Classic Wave

Worn by Jacques Villeret as Henri Sauveur. Montres de Luxe identifies Henri's watch as an Ebel Classic Wave, but that name is anachronistic for a 1992 film: Ebel did not unveil Classic Wave until 2001, when it replaced the earlier Sport Classic. The source gives no reference or image detail that would support narrowing the period-correct watch beyond the predecessor family. (Montres de Luxe; JCK)
