Let It Be

Let It Be is a 1970 British documentary directed by Michael Lindsay-Hogg, released 13 May 1970 in New York and 20 May 1970 in the UK, following The Beatles rehearsing and recording at Twickenham Film Studios and Apple's basement studio in January 1969 for what became their twelfth and final studio album of the same name. (Wikipedia) The film's climax is the band's unannounced concert on the roof of Apple's Savile Row headquarters on January 30, 1969, their last public performance before police halted it. Seiko released two PREMICO tie-in watches for the album/film's 50th anniversary: one evoking the record itself, the other the rooftop performance.

Imperial Enterprise released this ¥49,800 (¥54,780 tax-in) watch through PREMICO on July 26, 2021, part of the same 50th-anniversary campaign; its 1,970-piece run marks the album/film's 1970 anniversary rather than the January 30, 1969 rooftop show it depicts.
