Property master Michael Jortner and costume designer Miyako Bellizzi chose a late-1940s or early-1950s 10-karat-gold tonneau Elgin (identified by spotting coverage as the likely reference 6728A), an affordable American dress watch signaling aspiration rather than arrival.
