Michael Clayton (2007)

From IMWDb
Michael Clayton

Michael Clayton, written and directed by Tony Gilroy, was released by Warner Bros. Pictures in October 2007. George Clooney plays the title character, a law-firm fixer whose gambling debts and dying restaurant venture leave him with no leverage when a senior litigator, Tom Wilkinson's Arthur Edens, breaks down mid-deposition and turns on the agrochemical client he has defended for six years. Tilda Swinton won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress as the client's general counsel. (IMDb)

Watches

Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control
Worn by George Clooney as Michael Clayton. Montres de Luxe identifies Clayton's watch as a Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Hometime on a steel bracelet, the dual-time member of the Master Control family, which suits a man whose job is being in the wrong city at four in the morning. (Montres de Luxe) The production credits Jaeger-LeCoultre as a supplier of watches, which corroborates the brand independently of any spotting; it does not by itself establish which reference reached Clooney's wrist, and no source resolves one, so the row links the collection rather than a Hometime reference. Note also that Clooney was an Omega ambassador at the time, which makes the placement a conspicuous exception rather than the usual celebrity-brand alignment.
