Old Narcissus (老ナルキソス) is a Japanese feature film released in Japan from 20 May 2023, which follows a 2017 short of the same name with the same lead. Taijiro Tamura plays Yamazaki, a 74-year-old picture-book author, once a handsome young gay man in love with his own beauty, who cannot bear growing old; his meeting with a young man, Leo, played by Atomu Mizuishi, leads him for the first time to love someone other than himself. Baume & Mercier watch

Worn by Taijiro Tamura as Yamazaki. Housekihiroba, the Shibuya dealer that lent the watch, announced before the film opened on 20 May 2023 that Taijiro Tamura would wear a Baume & Mercier, which it calls only a square model. Its listing of the lent piece, found from the card's photograph, gives no model or reference: a 33 by 25 mm yellow gold quartz case with diamonds set down its sides, a white dial with Roman numerals and a date, on a gold mesh bracelet. Tamura plays Yamazaki, an ageing picture-book author. (Housekihiroba; Housekihiroba; TMDB)
