George P. Cosmatos directed the second Rambo film from a screenplay by Sylvester Stallone and James Cameron, after a story by Kevin Jarre. Stallone's John Rambo is released from prison by Colonel Sam Trautman (Richard Crenna) to document American prisoners of war thought to be held in Vietnam, under strict orders not to rescue them; abandoned when he defies those orders, he fights his way out with the captives. Charles Napier, Julia Nickson and Steven Berkoff co-star. Tri-Star Pictures released the Carolco production on 22 May 1985, and Rambo III followed. (IMDb) (Wikipedia)

Worn by Sylvester Stallone as John Rambo. Oracle of Time's history of the Monnin dive-watch case calls the black PVD Chronosport UDT "the watch worn by Sylvester Stallone in the first three Rambo films", and The Time Bum, reviewing Momentum's reissue, is specific to this one: "the Chronosport UDT featured in Rambo II". Neither names a scene or a reference. The analogue-digital diver, named for the Navy's Underwater Demolition Teams, is the watch documented on Rambo in Rambo III (1988).
