Watches

Perrelet Dipteros

Worn by Akshay Kumar. Montres de Luxe identifies Akshay's watch as a Perrelet Dipteros (gold, vintage, leather strap). (Montres de Luxe) Perrelet's announcement says it supplied an original Dipteros from its historic collection to the filmmakers for Kumar's naval officer, Rustom Pavri. It describes the linked winding rotors on the movement and dial sides as the design's defining feature. This is a manufacturer-described placement of an older watch, rather than the contemporary First Class Double Rotor used as its successor in the same announcement.
