TAG Heuer 2000 Professional

Worn by Neve Campbell as Sidney Prescott. Montres de Luxe identified Sidney's watch as a TAG Heuer Link, illustrated only by generic Scream 2 DVD cover art with no scene photo. (Montres de Luxe) That claim was already chronologically doubtful: TAG Heuer renamed the line from S/el to Link only in 1999, two years after this film, so even accepted at face value it describes a piece that would have been sold as an S/el in 1997. A tight scene closeup contradicts the claim outright: the watch has a numbered rotating dive bezel, a dial marked "professional 200 meters" beneath the TAG Heuer shield, and a flat, straight-link bracelet, none of which match the Link/S/el's smooth bezel and signature curved double-"S" bracelet. Watch-ID blogger Bandrew Scott, working from that same closeup, instead identifies the piece via Calibre11's TAG Heuer 2000 Series reference material as a 2000 Series Generation 2 (introduced 1995), probably ref. WK1211, a "Professional 200m" diver.
