Skiptrace (2016)

From IMWDb
Skiptrace

Renny Harlin's 2016 action comedy pairs the Hong Kong detective Bennie Chan (Jackie Chan) with the American con man Connor Watts (Johnny Knoxville), whom Bennie drags from Russia across Mongolia and China to Hong Kong as a witness against the casino owner he believes is the crime boss Matador; Fan Bingbing plays Samantha, the daughter of Bennie's partner Yung (Eric Tsang), whose death nine years earlier opens the film. It was released in China on 21 July 2016 and in the United States on 2 September 2016. (IMDb; Wikipedia)

Watches

Panerai Luminor 1950 3 Days Power Reserve PAM00423
Worn by Jackie Chan as Bennie Chan. Yung hands Bennie his watch to remember him by before he is killed in the opening sequence, and Bennie wears the steel Luminor 1950 for the nine years the plot then covers, until he pawns it in Mongolia for a battered car to keep the journey going. An Uhrforum member identified it in November 2016 as the PAM 423 from a WatchTime Brasil photograph that is no longer online, and the Tokyo dealer Commit Ginza's column on Jackie Chan's screen watches independently names the Luminor Power Reserve PAM00423 and the Mongolian pawning. The 47 mm cushion case, the crown-guard lever and the power-reserve arc at 4 o'clock that mark the 423 out from the plain Luminor 1950 3 Days carry the identification. (Uhrforum; Commit Ginza)
