After a prisoner transfer goes wrong and terrorist Adem Qasim escapes MI5 custody, veteran officer Harry Pearce, played by Peter Firth, fakes his own death and recruits disgraced former agent Will Holloway, played by Kit Harington, to expose a mole inside the Service and stop the attack Qasim is planning before it happens.
