Alain Chabat wrote, directed and stars in this live-action and animated comedy adapted from André Franquin's Marsupilami comics, released in English as HOUBA! On the Trail of the Marsupilami. Chabat's washed-up television reporter Dan Geraldo heads into the Palombian jungle with local guide Pablito Camaron (Jamel Debbouze) in search of the mythical creature, while Lambert Wilson's Général Pochero and Patrick Timsit's corporal pursue their own ends. The Forumamontres thread on watches at the cinema opened on this film in April 2012 with a first guess of a Panerai Luminor, which six members who saw it in the following week rejected in favour of a Hamilton: one reads it as a Khaki, another as a Hamilton day-date, a third as resembling the Khaki King, and one reports that the end credits thank Hamilton. No frame was posted, so the identification stays at the Khaki Field line; the day-date Khaki King is the members' closest reading but not confirmed.
