Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003)

From IMWDb
Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines

Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, directed by Jonathan Mostow, opened in July 2003 through Warner Bros. Pictures in North America and Columbia Pictures internationally. Arnold Schwarzenegger returns as a reprogrammed T-850 sent to protect the adult John Connor, played by Nick Stahl, and Claire Danes's Kate Brewster from the liquid-metal T-X, with the film ending on the nuclear exchange the first two had staved off. It was Schwarzenegger's last leading role before he was elected Governor of California that October. (IMDb)

Watches

Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore T3
Worn by Arnold Schwarzenegger as The Terminator. The watch and the film were built for each other. Audemars Piguet developed the Royal Oak Offshore T3 in direct collaboration with Schwarzenegger and launched it in June 2003 alongside the picture, a 1,000-piece limited edition in a titanium case of roughly 48 mm, the largest Offshore the brand has made, with hinged guards over the crown and both pushers and a T3 emblem on the caseback. Europa Star, covering the launch, records that Schwarzenegger wears it in the film itself, after the earlier End of Days edition of 1999. (Europa Star; Montres de Luxe) The T3 is therefore both a licensed tie-in product and an on-screen appearance, which is unusual: most film watch editions are announced beside a picture the watch never enters. The bulk is case rather than mechanism, since the calibre 2226/2840 inside is the Jaeger-LeCoultre-based chronograph with Dubois Depraz under-dial work every Offshore used until 2007.
