John Lee Hancock's drama, from Michael Lewis's 2006 book, tells how the Memphis decorator Leigh Anne Tuohy (Sandra Bullock) and her husband Sean (Tim McGraw) took in Michael Oher (Quinton Aaron), a homeless teenager who became a first-round NFL draft pick. Worn by Sandra Bullock as Leigh Anne Tuohy. Real-adjacent: a costume copy, not a Rolex. Premiere Props sold it on 10 March 2012 (lot 12) as Leigh Anne Tuohy's "screen worn faux gold metal with jewels around the face 'Rolex' watch", adding "This watch is not a real Rolex", with the house's certificate; the same description returned in four later sales to January 2014. Probable identification. The lot photograph shows what the copy imitates: a small gold-tone watch with a stone-set bezel, a champagne dial with stone hour markers and a date window, on a three-link President-style bracelet, the pattern of a gem-set Lady-Datejust.
