The Captain (中国机长), directed by Andrew Lau, dramatizes Sichuan Airlines Flight 3U8633's real 2018 windshield-failure incident, in which the cockpit's front windshield blew out at 32,000 feet over the Tibetan Plateau, depressurizing the cabin and partially ejecting the co-pilot before the crew regained control and landed safely in Chengdu. Zhang Hanyu plays Senior Captain Liu Changjian, Ou Hao plays First Officer Xu Yichen, Du Jiang plays Captain Liang Dong, and Yuan Quan plays Senior Purser Bi Nan; the characters' names differ from the real crew's names.
