The Climbers (2019)

From IMWDb
The Climbers

The Climbers (攀登者), directed by Daniel Lee, dramatizes the 1975 Chinese mountaineering expedition that became the first to survey and confirm the exact height of Mount Everest from its treacherous north face, fifteen years after an earlier Chinese team's disputed 1960 summit. Jing Boran plays photographer and climber Li Guoliang, and Zhang Yi plays technical officer Qu Songlin; the cast also includes Wu Jing, Zhang Ziyi, and Hu Ge. Released on 30 September 2019 to mark the PRC's 70th anniversary, it grossed roughly $174 million. (Wikipedia)

Watches

Shanghai 7120
Worn by Jing Boran as Li Guoliang (李国梁). xbiao.com names Li Guoliang's watch as the Shanghai 7120, a 19-jewel shockproof men's watch, tying it to the 1974 launch of the Shanghai Watch Factory's unified mechanical movement program and citing a 1973 internal Shanghai retail catalog giving its period price (¥125). Real, documented, and period-correct for the film's 1975 setting. (xbiao.com)

Zuanshi 505
Worn by Zhang Yi as Qu Songlin (曲松林). xbiao.com names Qu Songlin's watch, worn during a training-camp scene, as the Zuanshi (钻石牌) 505 chronograph/stopwatch, tying it to the Shanghai Stopwatch Factory's product line (the factory later renamed Shanghai Diamond/Zuanshi Watch Factory in 1986) and citing the same 1973 catalog for a period price (¥90). The source states the brand mark at 6 o'clock is obscured in the cited shot, so the identification rests on the source's documented knowledge of the factory's product line rather than a legible on-screen logo; recorded here at probable confidence.
