In the theatre play staged within the student-uprising story, Rupert Friend's drill sergeant wears a military-style watch that prop master Eckart Friz describes to Hodinkee as "a quartz replica of a '40s watch" from the 1990s, chosen by Wes Anderson over the more expensive French watch Friz had suggested; Hodinkee publishes Friz's own photograph of the prop. Omega Speedmaster (unidentified model)

Worn by Jeffrey Wright as Roebuck Wright. Roebuck Wright wears a steel chronograph on a bracelet while he tells "La salle à manger privée du commissaire de police" on a television talk show, opposite Liev Schreiber's host. In January 2022 cvalue13 posted three photographs of the screen from the talk-show scenes, at about 1:10:54 and 1:23:24, and asked whether it was a straight-lug Speedmaster; M'Bob saw non-baton hands and a worn bezel and settled on a 2998.
