A Hong Kong heist film directed by Steve Yuen, loosely inspired by the 2009 Ginza Tenshodo heist and a 2010 Hong Kong post office robbery. (Wikipedia) Edan Lui plays Man Shun, a young Hong Kong horologist obsessed with the history of watchmaking and the whereabouts of a missing prototype "Moonwatch," who assembles counterfeit watches from genuine parts to get by. Blackmailed by an underground dealer, Man Shun and a locksmith are sent to infiltrate a high-end Tokyo watch dealer and swap a trio of watches once owned by Pablo Picasso ahead of an auction. The film stars Anson Lo, Lui, Louis Cheung, Michael Ning and Keung To, and was released theatrically in Hong Kong on 9 February 2024.
