A Kansas farm girl, Dorothy Gale, is swept by a tornado into the magical land of Oz, where she follows the yellow brick road to the Emerald City with the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion, pursued by the Wicked Witch of the West. Judy Garland stars as Dorothy, with Ray Bolger, Jack Haley, Bert Lahr, Frank Morgan, Billie Burke, and Margaret Hamilton.
