You Should Have Left

David Koepp's 2020 psychological horror film, adapted from Daniel Kehlmann's 2017 novella and produced by Jason Blum's Blumhouse for Universal, sends Theo Conroy (Kevin Bacon), a wealthy retired banker acquitted years earlier of his first wife's death, to a stark rented house in the Welsh hills with his much younger actress wife Susanna (Amanda Seyfried) and their daughter Ella (Avery Essex), where the rooms measure larger inside than out and the house begins to answer his guilt. Worn by Kevin Bacon as Theo Conroy. Conroy's steel chronograph on a leather strap appears in two frames an Uhrforum member posted in April 2021, identifying it as a TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre 16. The Tokyo dealer Commit Ginza's column on Bacon's screen watches names the same watch as the Carrera Chronograph Calibre 16 reference CBK2112.FC6292, the blue-dial execution on a leather strap, reading it as a sporty chronograph dressed up for a wealthy man on holiday. The frames show the three-register layout, the tachymeter bezel and the strap; the blue dial and the exact reference rest on Commit's reading, so the model is recorded and the reference stays a candidate.
