家栽の人 is a TV Asahi Sunday Wide two-hour drama special that aired May 17, 2020, adapting Jinpachi Mohri's manga of the same name (art by Osamu Uodo), serialized in Shogakukan's Big Comic Original from 1987 to 1996. Eiichiro Funakoshi stars as Yoshio Kuwata, a family court judge from a family of jurists who has turned down promotion out of a preoccupation with the family court, applying an unusual devotion to plants and their patient cultivation to the troubled families, divorces, and juvenile cases before him. Kazuyuki Ryosawa wrote the screenplay; the supporting cast includes Ayumu Mochizuki, Rika Adachi, Arata Horii, Takashi Yamanaka, Hitomi Sato, Yoshiyuki Morishita, Chiharu Niiyama, Takuzo Kadono, and Tokuma Nishioka.
