Ronald D. Moore's re-imagining of the 1978 series followed a 2003 miniseries and ran for four seasons, first on Sky One in October 2004 and then on the Sci Fi Channel until March 2009. After the Cylons destroy the Twelve Colonies, Commander William Adama (Edward James Olmos) and President Laura Roslin (Mary McDonnell) lead a ragtag fleet in search of Earth. Worn by Richard Hatch as Tom Zarek. Propworx's third Battlestar Galactica auction, on 27 August 2011, sold "Tom Zarek's 'Nautica' watch worn throughout the series, notably with his business suit from Season 2 and onward", with a black face, silver edging and black leather straps and a scratched crystal. The lot photograph shows a steel tonneau case with NAUTICA engraved around the bezel, a black dial with a date at three and a black crocodile-grain strap. The lot names no model. (Propworx)
