Expats is a 2024 Amazon Prime Video miniseries created and directed by Lulu Wang, adapted from Janice Y. K. Lee's 2016 novel The Expatriates. Across six episodes it follows three American expatriate women in Hong Kong, Margaret Woo (Nicole Kidman), Hilary Starr (Sarayu Blue), and Mercy Cho (Ji-young Yoo), whose friendships and marriages fracture after a tragedy involving Margaret's young son during an ordinary night market outing.
