Robert Rodat created this science fiction series, with Steven Spielberg as an executive producer, and TNT showed its five seasons and 52 episodes from 19 June 2011 to 30 August 2015. Six months after an alien invasion has destroyed the world's armies, the Boston history professor Tom Mason (Noah Wyle) becomes second in command of the 2nd Massachusetts, a militia regiment of soldiers and civilians led by Dan Weaver (Will Patton), and fights the Espheni while looking for his sons. Hamilton pocket watch

Worn by Noah Wyle as Tom Mason. Season 4, episode 3, "Exodus" (first shown 6 July 2014). Premiere Props' sale of the series' assets on 29 August 2015 placed the watch to the minute (lot 244): "Season 4, Episode 3 (24:56 minutes) - Tom Mason (Noah Wyle) checks his pocket watch" during the mission to cut the power to the Espheni prison fence; the "watch and his hand-drawn 'escape route' map are affixed to his forearm", and Tom "keeps referencing the pocket watch strapped to his wrist, as he has already timed when each Skitter patrol should appear". The catalogue gives a "White face 'Hamilton' pocket watch with gold-colored casing", about 2 1/4 inches across. The lot photograph shows a gold-tone open-face case and a cracked white railroad dial with bold Arabic numerals, an inner 13 to 24 track and small seconds at six; the damage has taken most of the signature. The lot names no grade or model. The same sale lists two Elgin pocket watches as Tom Mason's from season 1 without saying how they were used. (Premiere Props lot 244)
