First Love

Yuri Kanchiku wrote and directed this nine-episode Netflix series, inspired by Hikaru Utada's songs "First Love" and "Hatsukoi," following Yae Noguchi and Harumichi Namiki (Takeru Satoh) from their high-school meeting in the late 1990s through a long-distance breakup and a chance reunion fifteen years later.
