Simmons stars as Mel Fisher, a blind lawyer who has spent years concealing his blindness, with Jenna Elfman as his ex-wife Joyce, Eli Baker as eleven-year-old narrator-in-waiting Henry, Ava Deluca-Verley as daughter Katie, and Jason Bateman narrating as the adult Henry (Wikipedia).
